Frank L. Smith

Frank L. Smith. (Republican) who represents Oswego County in the Assembly, is a native of the Town of Schroeppel, Oswego County. Where he was born May 21, 1858. He now resides at Phoenix, N.Y. He was educated at Phoenix Academy and is a farmer. Mr. Smith is a republican in politics and always has been. He was elected Supervisor of the Town of Schroeppel in 1895 and served ten consecutive years, and was elected Chairman of the Board in 1900. In 1908 as the republican candidate for the Assembly, he received 9, 438 defeating John O'Brian by 2,207 plurality. Speaker Wadsworth in 1909 appointed Mr. Smith a member of the following committees: Electricity, Gas and Water Supply, Canals, and Public Printing.
